We stopped by as we were thirsty for a drink after walking around the Cape Spear National Park which is worth checking out! We had 2 ice teas which were refreshing. You really have to come here for the amazing views you get from your outdoor picnic table! As long as you can put up with a little, actually a lot of wind! We didn’t try the food though I’m sure it is good but for just the view alone it is worth coming here! Cape Spear is the most eastern point in North America.

We went early June and there weren’t too many people. The cafe is a welcome place for tourists who trekked up. Service was friendly and helpful, we were only 3 groups at the time. I only wanted a snack so we tried their Moose Farts , because why not, I never tried them before. I can’t remember what was in there but it was quite good. Almost like a protein ball but yummier. There wasn’t a lot of offerings but maybe it could have been that it was early into the tourist season and they had just opened. They also have a bit of history and write ups about the place which made the cafe more interesting than just a place to eat. There is an area outdoors with seats and tables, I could imagine it would be a great view on a non foggy day, however we had a lot of fog when we went so we couldn’t enjoy it.

Best lattes! Sandwiches, soups, desserts available. Picnics available by preorder day in advance. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Breathtaking views! We spotted humpbacks while enjoying coffee and dessert outside on the picnic tables

Came here after a long, cold hike. The chowder, chilli and grilled cheese were delicious. Nice bread and good ingredient quality. The jam cookie, moose fart and chocolate mouse were yummy too. Enough seating inside for 18 people. Clean bathrooms. Friendly atmosphere.

I ordered the fish cakes, not expecting much considering it's a tourist cafe that was seemingly staffed by teenagers... but it ended up being incredibly delicious, and came with a side salad that was also really good and fresh. I loved all the pickles and pickled red onions. There was a lot of volume too, definitely more meal-sized than the snack I was expecting. The chocolate chip cookies are so good. Overall food was a 10/10. It also has a very clean public bathroom in the basement.

We arrived at this café on a cold and rainy July morning when we were visiting Cape Spear. To be honest, I was not expecting extremely high quality coffee from a café, which was serving not just coffee but a pretty full menu of food and snacks. I was, however, very pleasantly surprised with the excellent quality of the Cortado, which I was served. The baristas were knowledgeable, friendly, and discussed with me at length the sourcing of their espresso beans. I was delighted to find that the café was using locally roasted beans from the Gros Moran coffee roastery. As mentioned, my Cortado was perfectly prepared. The espresso was rich and dark with just the perfect proportion of creamy foam. With it I had a recommended local bakery favourite called a jam jam. It paired perfectly with the coffee. This is truly a spectacular tourist site and it is always a joy for me when I can combine a stunning view and excellent coffee.
